For all the guides every tour is the same; we go to the same place and we say the same things all over again but I keep in the mind that for the most of the guests it’s a lifetime experience hence I provide with the best of everything.
Tenzin Phuntsho
More than your tour guide, I am your travel companion and a trekking friend in the Himalayas. The most inspiring, positive and consistent feedback from all of my previous guests is that they enjoy being around me and listening to my stories of Bhutan.
Always smiling and cheerful I make sure I rub off some of my positive traits onto our guests so that we all make a cheerful happy group of tourists and locals traveling together.
I did my certificate course in Cultural Tour Guide in 2008 and ever since, I have travelled the length and breadth of my country managing and guiding tours for guests of Bhutan Swallowtail. I also have good trekking experience in the Himalayas, and at times, I double up as head chef incase my guests’ need some special customized food high in the mountains.
